Job Summary:

We are seeking an expert Senior Oracle DBA to architect, manage, and optimize our mission-critical Oracle database environments. In this role, you will take full ownership of database performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and advanced security configurations across enterprise-grade Oracle systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Oracle Database Architecture: Design, deploy, configure, and upgrade enterprise Oracle database systems (Oracle 19c/21c and higher) on cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
• Performance Tuning & Diagnostics: Proactively monitor database health, diagnose bottlenecks, tune complex SQL queries, and optimize memory and storage allocations.
• High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and robust backup/recovery strategies using RMAN.
• Database Security & Compliance: Enforce strict security policies, database auditing, Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), user access controls, and regular patching cycles.
• Migration & Upgrades: Lead complex database migrations, schema deployments, version upgrades, and platform transitions with zero to minimal downtime.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with software engineers, cloud architects, and DevOps teams to review data models, stored procedures, and deployment workflows.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of extensive, hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA handling enterprise-level production databases in high-traffic environments.
• Technical Mastery: Deep expert-level knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, Enterprise Manager (OEM), performance tuning, and PL/SQL optimization.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to resolve critical database performance issues and system failures under pressure.
• Certifications & Mindset: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) credentials are a strong plus, combined with a proactive, ownership-driven startup mindset.
